And the woman conceived and bare a son: and when she saw that he was fair, (A)she hid him three months.

But when she could no longer hide him, she took for him an ark made of reed, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and [a]laid the child therein, and put it among the bulrushes by the river’s brink.
